Messrs. Barker & Co.Ltd.

the wing-tip.

(6) We wish you to supply and fit a set of Barker discs - these will be polished aluminium.

(8) Will you kindly return to Mr. Hives at our Works in Derby the forward body bolts, springs and covers, when they will be replaced by the latest design.

Any spare wing stays, and step brackets which you may have should be retained for the time being.

(9) The valance which is a continuation of the body panel should be carried on brackets on the body. It may be attached to the brackets by 2.BA studs and nickel plated cap nuts.

The forward valance is attached to the chassis by bolts and aluminium packings.

(10) Chrysler type wing lamps should be fitted on the extreme crown of the front wings.

(11) We agree to the tread plate on the steps being of aluminium instead of rubber, as originally called for.

(12) It will be necessary to put steel angle edge plates in the hinged deck, and rear seat squab deck, to prevent the shrinkage of the wood changing the curvature.

(13) We recommend that you assure yourselves that there is no damage of the rear door after pillars moving outwards due to strinkage or any other cause.

(14) Please supply a front number plate. We will send you the number.

We are very pleased with the body, and great hopes for very successful results.

Yours faithfully,
for ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED,
