X7550 Btn-1 December 11, 1930. Cc- Mr. Hives Mr. Ross Rolls Royce, Ltd., Derby, England. Attention: Mr. R.W.E.Bailey Dear Sir: Re: Horn Mounting We have tried a Model L Sparton S.O.S. horn on 25-EX and think this will be preferable to the Robert Bosch Horn fitted. We are now specifying with regard to the horn: "Horn bracket to be fitted on dash suitable for a horn which will be supplied in U.S." The bracket referred to is the cast aluminum bracket carrying two vertical holes .312" diameter and 1.093" apart for the spring plates of the horn. If you will arrange to fit this bracket exactly as on 25-EX, then we will arrange for the horns to be supplied with carrying plates to suit. We are forwarding a sample of this type of horn for Mr. Hives. Will you kindly let me have a blue print of this aluminum bracket as soon as possible. Yours very truly, Robert B. Burton Tech.
