Sidgreaves - MD}9/E4.9.30 The position as regards electric clocks is that we have one (The Boyce Electric Clock) on test. This clock is of English manufacture, although we believe it is U.S.A. origin. We have also ordered an electric clock made by Seth Thomas, which is made in U.S.A. and is the same type as they fit to Springfield cars. We shall not have an electric clock available to suit 25-EX. As we have not yet standardised an electric clock, and U.S.A. are more advanced than we are on this point, we think it would be most satisfactory to let them make their own arrangements as regards clocks. With reference to the speedometer. We considered, and Oy. agreed, that our type of speedometer was preferable to the ones they were using. It may be possible, however, that the speedometer we are using (the A.T.) may be manufactured in U.S.A. This is a point you could take up when we are there. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
