Re-tests on SX battery (159)
This battery has now completed 7,855 miles on the road. On bench tests the results were good, the high rate being much improved.
On low rate discharge through a constant external resistance of 1.80w 69.7 ampere hours were obtained, & all cells showed positive weakness on the Cadmium test.
After a full charge a high rate discharge was taken through a constant external resistance of .100w.
Initial amperes = 107.0
Time to 104 " = 6.7 min
" " 100 " = 11.5 "
" " 90 " = 15.2 "
" " 80 " = 16.2 "
All cells showed negative weakness
Both the P&R & Exide cells discharged equally.
Signed: F.G.
This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work.
