S.U. PETROL PUMP NO. MD.3. NOW FITTED TO 3.B.IV.

We attach herewith Temperature - Delivery Curves.

As the above pump was required for 3.B.IV. chassis we have only tried Ethyl fluid and DTD.224.

Maximum delivery of the pump through open feed pipes = 166 pts/hr.

The capacity of the twin pump head with diaphragms at the top of the stroke = 44 ccs.

Capacity with diaphragms at the bottom of the stroke = 54 ccs.

This brings the output/stroke to 10 ccs., and working on a 166 pts/hr. delivery as above brings the number of strokes/min to 158.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} C. Bowering.
