Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of your letters of the 19th and 23rd inst. and note your remarks. We acknowledge receipt of the Reservoir Tank which has been fitted, and is, in our opinion, of sufficient capacity for the operation of the Jackalls. We also note that the distributor pump is to be left in its present position. (1) We have refitted the front jacks in a slightly more vertical position. (2) We have also fitted the 5/16" pipe from the distributor box to the rear jacks with the hole opened out in the distributor box on the rear outlet, to the side of the pipe-line which gives the following results;- The car was raised on all four jacks with 145 strokes of the handle, in one min. 30 secs. Ground clearance on the front tyres is 1 1/4" - on the rear 2" On "release" the front jacks return right back - on the rear jacks, the first extension, (5 1/4") in 15 secs. The rear jacks return 6 1/4" from the ground in two mins and right home in 2 1/2 mins. The respective ground clearance of the TO AVOID DELAY ALL ENVELOPES SHOULD BE | ||
