Bumping tests on front of 20 HP. chassis. TESTER. L. Swindall. CONDITIONS. Chassis was fitted with stiffer front springs and axle with front brakes. SUMMARY OF TEST. The dumb irons,shackles, and fixing for rear end of front springs gave no trouble. The average life of the front springs is 50% longer than the present standard when tested under similar conditions.
