Messrs. Ferodo Ltd.,
Chapel-en-le-Frith.

For the attention of Mr.Longley.

Dear Sirs,

We hear that our Mr. Martindale has written to you with regard to interleaving in the VG.90 type of material.

We are very keen to try it, and the following are the dimensions of the five sheets which we use per springs, 49" x 1 3/4", 44" x 1 3/4", 37" x 1 3/4", 31" x 1 3/4" and 24 1/2" x 1 3/4". In addition they should have a central strip 2" long, 1/2" wide and 1/8" thick at each end of each leaf to locate the ends in the grooves in the spring leaves.

This will of course be a separate piece of material attached by paper clips or similarly.

We should like you to make us up four sets and let us know the cost.

Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
