To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/BWG.{J. C. Bowring} from Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Handwritten: BWG{J. C. Bowring} See one HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Handwritten: X317 Handwritten: HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Jackall Jacks on Phantom. Replying to your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring}15/KW.27.2.34 there is not the slightest hope of getting the jacks in in the position shewn on Messrs. Smith & Sons drawing, the top of the jack running right into the frame side member. If they could send us a drawing shewing the internals of the jacks, we might be able to suggest how they could be modified to come into the available space, but even this is not very hopeful.
