I am in receipt of Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/MT.5.7.33 and with regard to the carburetter I am afraid I was misinformed as I was given to understand that on this car we were testing the semi-expanding carburetter similar to the 40/50.

Similar remarks also apply to the thermostatic control which I was given to understand we were running on this car.

I have noted with interest all the other remarks contained in your memo. and, looking at the matter generally, it would appear that we can consider the result of the test as being very satisfactory.
