McKechnie - Sales}21.7.33, we agree with your suggestion that if the cycle type wings are not attached to the front axle and do not turn with the wheels, they are very bad mud slingers. If a valance is put in between the wing and the frame underneath, one arrives at an ordinary wing having no virtues as far as wind resistance is concerned. In view of all that has been said we take it that we need only consider cycle type wings for the "100 Mile an Hour Shop Window Car" and we are sending sketches to Derby so that they can make up a special set of stub axles to deal with this one car.
