This drawing shows a driver hardened on the external teeth and also in the bore. We have spoken to RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} who thinks it would be very difficult to produce accurate drivers with hardened bores. As we do not get trouble on present production drivers in S/N. due to wear of the soft bore, we recommend that the new driver, which we have just standardised and which is of a better material, namely S/ZRX, should be left soft in the bore and the drawing altered accordingly.
