MARTINDALE

Dear Sirs,

Brake Drum Liners.

We are in receipt of your enquiry of yesterday's date and beg to say our price for supplying 400 pairs of Liners in Nitralloy steel machined and hardened complete, the Brinell figure being between 850 and 1,000, would be £1.12.0. per Liner.

We would supply one pair of Liners including fitting to the drums as you suggest for test purposes at the same price as quoted above.

We would prefer not to quote for the carbon steel Liners as, in our experience, the Nitralloy steel gives infinitely better results than any other material for Brake Drums.

We should be able to give you delivery of the sample pair in 8/10 days.

Thanking you,

We are,

Yours faithfully,
THE LAYSTALL MOTOR ENGINEERING WORKS LTD.

F.P.S Terrey

This price does not include final machining of inside of liner, which is done after shrinking it into the drum.
