January 19th, 1932.

Messrs. Joseph Lucas Ltd.
Great King St.{Capt. P. R. Strong}
Birmingham.

For the attention of Mr. Thacker.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to the Lucas new type windscreen wiper and alto medallion type high frequency horn which were taken back to your Works personally by your representative, we should be glad if you could give us any information on the condition of these units and also whether it would be possible for us to have same returned to us for re-fitting to the car this week.

With regard to the windscreen wiper, our Sales Dept. have criticised this from the point of view of speed and they say that the wiper does not wipe the screen fast enough - we therefore wonder if it is possible for the speed of the wipers to be slightly increased ready for the next test which we hope to carry out shortly. We hope you will be able to expedite the matter of returning these components to us as we do not wish to hold up the further tests on the chassis.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
