1170 c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} GRY{Shadwell Grylls}- BY.S/G.5.2.37. CHASSIS - UNIVERSAL JOINTS. Will you kindly arrange to fit the Phantom lll. pieceson both the Bentley and 25/30 chassis. The object of this is to enable the Works to produce the same joint for all three cars, which they consider would represent a definite saving in cost. In the meantime we must, of course, use up the parts which are machined or partially machined for the Bentley and 25/30, in other words we make no scrap. By BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
