K1002 To D/L. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}14/KW.26.8.36. Replying to D/L3/B.25.8.36. We regret that you did not have a report on this accident, which was of course of an extremely minor nature. The car was here at the time in connection with practice for Le Mans, some new brake liners were being tried out on this chassis. In the ordinary course of events this is treated in the same way as work done for Mr. Hall in connection with his racing, and in most cases we believe the firm stands the expense.
