Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}

We are informed that when E.R. Hall's car, Reg. No. BGO.387, was in the Experimental Dept. on the 25th May last A.V. Darby reversed it from the Experimental Garage into an aero test shed and in doing so damaged the nearside rear wing and boot lid.{A. J. Lidsey}

The necessary repairs have been carried out by the J.R. Engineering Co., London, and we are asked to meet the expense, the amount of which we do not at the moment know.

We do not appear to have received any report on this accident and should be pleased to have your remarks.

Will you also kindly say for what purpose the car was here and whether we were doing any work which is chargeable to Mr. Hall.

D.L.
