Dear Mr Robotham,

I am writing to you again to ask if you have had any opportunity to try out my silencer design, and if so with what sort of success.
I hope you wont think me impatient, but it is some time since I last wrote and I am naturally curious to know how things are proceeding.

Yours faithfully

D.L. Ellis.
