S/W Mr. Hives 29.1.19. Re Delage Car. WH2/IG28119. X3500 C14/C29119 I am sorry to hear the Delage is in such a bad condition. We certainly wish you had seen it first. I simply got instructions from Mr. Johnson, at a request from Mr. Royce, that we should buy a 1914 Delage car. We advertised for weeks and could not get one and then we found that the 1913 is exactly the same as the 1914 except for the carburettor. This 1913 was the only one we could get after further advertising, and when we got it we found it was fitted with the latest type carburettor, so that really it is a 1914 Delage car. Presumably Mr. Royce wanted to see the best that the Delage could do, and this apparently represents their latest effort. C. | ||
