.86129. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.11/MA. May 31st., 1933. Messrs. North & Sons, Ltd., Whippendell Road, WATFORD. Watford Speedometer and Rev Counter for Bentley Chassis. Dear Sirs, We have now tested the sample instruments submitted to us recently. Both instruments have a tendency for the needle to stick on the scale, particularly the rev counter which sticks badly up to 1500 RPM., otherwise the instruments were found to be reasonably accurate. There are several points regarding these instruments which we would like to discuss with your technical representative with a view to obtaining further supplies and we should be glad if you will arrange for your representative to wait upon us as soon as possible for the purpose of such discussion. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
