re EFFECT OF ETHYL PETROL
ON SPARKING PLUGS.
---------------------

We attach hereto copy of H18/RH. {R. Hollingworth}
30.10.36., on the above subject.

Although you have assured us on
several occasions in the past that Ethyl has
no effect on sparking plugs, we believe you
are now satisfied that the effect does exist,
particularly on cars running only short distances.

We shall be glad to know if you have
any information later than that detailed in
Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Wst5/MJ.7.9.36., or better still, perhaps
you would write direct to H. {Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} giving us a copy.
