For the attention of W.A.Robotham, Esq.

29th March, 1935.

Dear Sirs,

We have delayed replying to your letter of the 21st inst. as we were hoping by this time to have obtained particulars of the Terraplane wheel and hub weights.

Actually, however, we have as yet been unsuccessful in this direction, but meanwhile we are going very thoroughly into the question of effecting possible weight saving on the N2. and N5. wheels, and will write you detailing our suggestions in the course of the next few days.

We would, however, at this juncture like to state that it is considered inadvisable to attempt any weight reduction on the Bentley wheel in its present form, and in this connection, the following comparative rim weights may be of interest :-

3.25 x 18 : 12 lbs. 2 oz.
4.00 x 16 : 12 lbs. 7 oz.
4.50 x 16 : 13 lbs. 11 oz.

Yours faithfully,
FOR THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO.,LIMITED.
