Dear Sirs, Replying to your letter of the 3rd. inst., we regret that we have no official order to quote against our invoice 13805, but we trust we can explain satisfactorily the manner in which it arose. The cover which the invoice describes as "90/834" pattern is representative of a modified design which we have in mind introducing on current production, and was left with Mr. Robotham for his inspection and report at the time of the writer's visit on the 20th. March. The invoice was subsequently raised so that our records might be kept in order, but if after the cover has served its useful purpose you care to return it to us in unused condition, we shall be pleased to pass you credit in full. Yours faithfully, FOR THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO. LIMITED, Manager, Car Manfrs. Division. | ||
