Mr. Fedden's Bentley Car.

We called at Bristol to go over Mr. Fedden's complaints with him. It will be remembered that these briefly were :-

(1) We had spoiled the steering by curing the wheel wobble.
(2) He did not like the increased shock absorber setting.
(3) His brakes were squeaking badly.
(4) We had lowered his petrol consumption,
(5) The dynamo would not keep the battery charged.
(6) The petrol pump was noisy.

In addition, the following complaints were made whilst I was down there -

(7) Vibration and shaking of the lamps.
(8) Several criticisms about the body, which have already been taken up with Conduit Street we understand.
(9) A click in the axle.
(10) Engine noisy.

Dealing with these complaints in order :-

(1) Mr. Fedden now retracts what he originally said about the steering and considers that it is satisfactory.
(2) He agrees to go back to the original shock absorber setting. We were never in favour of the increased poundage, as we pointed out in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}18/KW.29.11.34.
