Mr. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham
Rolls-Royce, Ltd.
Derby, England

Dear Mr. Robotham:

Ever since Mr. Adkins got back I have been going to write and thank you for all you did for him. He brought back with him a feeling that you know our situation here and are warmly sympathetic with our needs and requirements in the way of people and performance for cars needed. Rolls-Royce and Bentley have a great market in this country, and some day this tie-up is going to be of help to them, I think. At least, that is my hope.

Mr. Adkin brought back with him a picture of the P-III loaned him, and he tells me he put considerable mileage on it. He said that its performance was the finest of any Rolls-Royce he had ever driven. In fact, to put it lightly, he was very enthusiastic.

You undoubtedly know that he brought back a 4 1/4-litre Bentley Saloon, and I hope that we shall be able to move this car quickly. We are handicapped by not having capital enough to have new cars on our floor, and it is wonderfully helpful when a car is consigned to us.

Some day when you have a little time on your hands, please sit down and drop me a personal letter. I'd love to hear from you.

Very sincerely, and with kind regards

JSI-D
