re: Chassis B.96.BL. - Major Wright.

I took this car down to Brooklands, which is fitted with a standard Park Ward Saloon, and the lap speed was 87.53 m.p.h. half-mile 91.84 m.p.h. This is with two up, and there was a slight wind up the straight.
We increased the poundage of the shock absorbers by removing the washers from under the valves at Major Wright's request, and this has made the springing a little harsher, particularly at low speeds.
