X 354 Y COPY. Ms. from BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. "F" Dept. E.F.C. c. to EH. CHASSIS - INSTRUMENT BOARD - SEC:7190. RE OIL PRESSURE GAUGES. It has been agreed with EH, in view of the possibility of using the type of piston with an oil ram, that the oil pressure will have to go up. In any case, our present gauges are working right against the stop of 20 lbs. which is quite wrong. I am therefore arranging that for future orders for gauges the range on the oil gauge should be 30 lbs. instead of 20. Mr. Booth should wait sample from Messrs. Bensons before we actually alter the drawings, for their sample is just what we want. We can make our drawing to conform to it and actually at the moment Messrs. Bensons are producing a sample gauge showing 30 lbs. range. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
