Dear Sirs,

We are in receipt of your letter of the 4th instant, reference Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std6/KW.

Re examining the figures and charts copies of which have been sent you, we are afraid we cannot agree that the Marston Mark VI, our trial L.609, shows a marked superiority to the Harrison Mark VI block, our trial L.608, and we suggest that you look further into the matter.

As we read it the Harrison Mark VI appears to be superior in all respects to the Marston Mark VI and as a matter of fact is the best of the four Radiator Blocks which we have recently tested on your behalf. In view of this we shall be glad to hear whether it is your intention to still send on to us a Mark V Harrison Block.

We are afraid it will be a week or two before we can carry out further tests on Oil Coolers but will write you further on the matter as soon as possible.

Yours faithfully,
CLAYTON DEWANDRE CO. LTD.
