T.S.D./I.B.M./C.L.M. During our visit to Hucknall on Tuesday last, 22nd February, we discussed with Messrs. Halls, Herrod, Johnson and Ainsworth the question of the supply of starter motors to cover your future production requirements. It was stated by Mr. Halls that your present stock of starter motors, B.T.H. Type C.5824, is 52, which, on the basis of present engine output, is sufficient to cover your requirements for the next six weeks. Your immediate further requirements are on an average 8 per week, making a total of approximately 200 required between the beginning of April and the end of September this year. We have this morning discussed the matter with B.T.H. They state that for the 200 motors in question they can give you a firm promise of delivery at the rate of 8 per week, commencing in April, and the first batch to be delivered by the end of the first week in that month. In regard to future supplies, they are at present going into the question of their production capacity with a view to ascertaining what increase they can offer on this figure of 8 per week. They promise to give us this information within the next few days. NOTES. | ||
