AMMETER.
-------

A Lucas B.M. type ammeter, No.2, failed on 10 B.V, due to sticking.

The instrument was taken to pieces and examined in order to find a reason for the failure. We found that the slot in the device had a slightly rough surface, and that on polishing this surface, the trouble was eliminated.

The instrument has now been refitted to 10.B.V for further testing.
