With reference to RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/GH.6/IB.16.11.36, we do not consider it would be advisable to produce the propeller shaft damper flywheels without the hardened friction surfaces, as we are of the opinion that soft surfaces would seize up on the phpsphor bronze friction plate which is fitted between the two flywheels.
