X5300 from Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}8/T1.8.33. We are in serious trouble I understand from London, on the question of clutches failing on the 20/25, and also a tremendous number of cars are coming in to Cricklewood and Depots for Engine Gear Rattles. I understand we are likely to be in some trouble with every Bentley car we supply as regards Engine Gear Rattle. It seems of great importance that this matter should be vigorously tackled, because I am informed by Mr. Cowen that it is going to have serious effect upon our Sales, and that people are discussing these failures.
