| -3- SECTION.6000. FLYWHEEL& CLUTCH. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} The flywheel to be the 6-cyl. High Inertia type to suit a Lucas Starter Motor - GB.5303. SEC.6110. PROPELLOR SHAFT. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} The design of the centre bearing of the propellor shaft must be reconsidered eventually by the Design Dept., but an existing bearing can be used should the revised design not be available. SEC.6120. REAR AXLE. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} It was requested that Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} obtains some sealed bearings for the 45 mm. half shafts. SEC.6130. REAR BRAKES. CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} Experiments on brake linings are in hand. The car should be fitted with linings to the rear brakes as 33.G.VII has this day. SEC.6150. REAR BRAKE EQUALISING GEAR. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} It was requested that Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} produces a simplified support for the rear support of the 'Walking stick' as proposed by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} which can be fitted subsequently. SEC.7030. REAR SPRINGS. CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} It was agreed that a set of lubricated rear road springs be borrowed from an existing car and that the existing car be fitted with springs having interleaves. SEC.7041. CROSS STEERING TUBE. EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/HH. The end socket, now believed to be in S/N. to be produced in S/M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} SEC.7042. FRONT SPRING & SUSPENSION MECHN. Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/HH. Use Ferodo washers on the ends of the suspension coil spring in place of the existing rubber ones. SEC.7043. FRONT BRAKES. CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} Use linings as fitted to 33.G.VII this day until current experiments have been completed. SEC.7070. SIDE STEERING TUBE. Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/HH.
