R.R. 235 a (200 T) (S C. 636. 15-8-16) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 1547. To Mr Heldenby from BY/ST.{Capt. P. R. Strong} X2369 BY/ST8/DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}231016. October 23rd, 1916. RE STANDARD CAR - ZEPHYR PISTONS WITH LONG SKIRTS. X.2369. We have instructed, as per the attached memo, a set of Zephyr pistons, under X.2369, to be fitted to 7CA. We would call your attention to the fact that we have left more metal on the diameter of the skirt, than usual, to make them a tighter fit in the cylinders. We would rather leave it to you to fix up the necessary clearance. [handwritten initials, crossed out] [handwritten signature] BY/ST.{Capt. P. R. Strong} | ||
