PHANTOM CHASSIS - G.2B SERIES MATERIAL.
---------------------------------------

With reference to the standardisation sheets which have been circulated in connection with introducing the cast dash and engine 1 3/8" further forward, we give below a list of other special features which have been instructed experimentally and fitted to chassis 12-EX in conjunction with the above, and which are considered to form part of the changeover :-

Altering steering column and pedal positions to suit cast dash.

Side lever mechanism to suit new seating positions.

Autovac with cork faced tap.

New radiator suspension with ferobestos bush type mounting.

Shorter lever on front axle control damper.

Longer front silencer and modified rear downtake pipe.

Lightened flywheel and clutch.

We would like you to confirm that it is intended to include the above when we introduce the engine further forward and cast dash for G.2B series.

On chassis 12-EX. we also fitted the Zenith filter and bonnet with catches to N.Sch. 2464 and lock to N.Sch. 2372.

We propose to instruct the Zenith filter for G.2B series, and to continue with the present production type catches and locks unless you inform us that you particularly wish us to introduce the new ones as shown on these two schemes.

EAC.14 was fitted with the .720 lead worm and nut, and 12-EX. with .900, but we are assuming that we are to instruct the .720 for G.2B series. Will you please confirm.
