20 HP. CHASSIS - 'N' SERIES MATERIAL.
-------------------------------

On the second half of 'N' series material we have already, owing to standardisation sheets for the wider dash being issued, held up the dashboard and bonnet. In addition to the foregoing R.{Sir Henry Royce} now desires to introduce a higher radiator. As R.{Sir Henry Royce} may insist, although we have got material on order for the radiator, in bringing in the higher radiator at the second half of 'N' series it would be wise not to get beyond the first half of 'N' series with the side members of the radiator for castings.

If material for the radiator is not actually delivered will the O.O. see whether it is possible to hold these up for say a month until we know better where we stand.

It is also proposed to increase the height of the head-lamps, and this may affect the wing stays and will certainly affect the lamp brackets.

Will the Departments affected (E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} & F.{Mr Friese} Depts.) by the above proposals let the O.O. and Sft.{Mr Swift} have a list of the parts likely to be affected. This item would be similar to the 40/50 HP. where Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} agreed that the material could be held back as it is one of the last items required. In the meantime we will keep in touch with WW. and the Experimental Department to see that the job moves as quickly as possible.
