With reference to PN {Mr Northey} 7/EHL1.12.26. We presume that the dampers referred to are the old mechanical friction type. Under the circumstances we are not surprised at the variation in loading and are in agreement that all mechanical friction type dampers require frequent attention if their setting is to be kept substantially constant.
