Dear Sirs, We confirm the visit of your representative Mr.R.N.Neill to our Works on Wednesday 31st October, when it was decided that a pair of P.100 type headlamps should be submitted to us for approval and test incorporating the following modifications :- (1) The electro magnetic dipper unit to be entirely deleted, and the reflector made rigid. (2) Lucas graves type lampadaptors to be fitted to the reflector and not from the front tripod as at present. (3) Double filament lamps of the Lucas graves type having a 60 watt main filament and 48 watt dipped. (4) The front glass to be plain except for slight vertical prismetic effect of the bottom of the glass. (5) Bulb and reflector all in the front rim. (6) No Lacquer to be used on the reflector surfaces. (7) A thin sports tripod to be fitted to the front of the glass to improve the appearance of the lamp. | ||
