S/W. PRIVATE. [Handwritten signature: Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}] 86116. Lp{Mr Lappin}3/LAM.31.10.34. To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Lp.{Mr Lappin} I can quite understand the irritability of a Bentley owner who drives behind P.100 Lamps. These in my limited experience are the worst lamps I ever came into contact with. On the run down from Derby last night no less than four lorries tried to charge us, in one case close enough to be definitely unpleasant. The lamps neither give a 'go-fast' driving light, nor [crossed out] do their dimming operations encourage oncoming cars to respond. only about one in ten dim. Lp.{Mr Lappin} | ||
