RE PETROL TANK.

With reference to your memo Bn{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}14/W8.8.19. regarding the above, we do not feel at all happy with the original scheme of making the petrol tank to take the Shock Absorbers.
It is absolute chance whether a good soldered joint is made.
It was because we pointed this out to be very unsatisfactory that a new design was prepared. We do not consider that any tanks should be used on production chassis' made to the original scheme which everyone agreed was impossible to make a sound job.
