COPY. S/W EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} from H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} H10/TB19.6.25. re. Circular Notice No. 440. Petrol Consumption "U" Series. The consumptions set forth in your Notice are so much above the average being obtained by the ordinary user that it would be interesting, I think, to all those who have received the Notice if you would give some further particulars. For example:- (1) Over what distance were the tests taken, and as you state they were made on level road, were the road conditions not even such as you would meet in a straightaway run of 50 miles in England? (2) What was the weight of the car? (3) Was it a Closed or Open Car, with the average wind resistance area which we associate with these types? H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} | ||
