X.294 - DYNAMOS FOR LARGE AND SMALL CARS.

Would you kindly let me know the present price we are paying for Lucas E.575 dynamos in quantities for the 40/50, also would you kindly find out the quantity price of Smith dynamos types 2B, 3D and 4D with all the modifications we should require to render these suitable for use on our own cars, which modifications are well known to Messrs. Smith in connection with the 2D dynamos which they have prepared and are preparing for us. In connection with Smith dynamos, we would also like to be informed of the exact position with regard to the possibility of supplies of these being available, provided Messrs. Smith can render these suitably silent for our purpose.

We would also like to know the quantity prices of Rotax dynamos types A.T.12 and A.T.4 for the large and small cars respectively, in the condition as turned out by the makers without modifications.

EFC.
