Referring to E.5/HP.17.5.34., we approached Messrs.Smiths regarding the suggestions that a small contact and warning light could be incorporated in the petrol gauge system, and we have their reply this morning in which they state that they have already designed a petrol gauge with a warning device of the nature required and they are arranging to send us a sample of this immediately.
