Dear Sirs,

Flexible Gland Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 1077.

We do not like the idea of exposing the bellows of the above gland to a position where stones might hit it.

We should like to know whether you think either of the pencil sketches on the enclosed print of Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 1077 is possible. If not, have you any suggestions for a simple method of protecting the bellows ?
