Derby.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

I am in receipt of your letter of 1st November but am afraid that the information we obtain in connection with our "Get you Home" Scheme is not in sufficient detail to provide reliable data of the nature you describe in your letter. I have asked our Engineering Department however to deal with this matter in case they may have had personal experience of instances where members have sustained a broken belt, in consequence of which the water pump has been put out of action.

I hope they may be able to give you some information of value.

Yours faithfully,

AWPhillips
