Dear Mr. Robotham,
I have your letter of the 2nd inst. asking for information regarding number of cars using belt drive for the water pump, generator, etc.
I have made some enquiries but I am afraid I do not know of any source where such information is obtainable apart from the manufacturers or possibly from large service stations, or again from an examination of details of cars in the technical press over a long period. It is not contained in any schedules which we have here.
Should I succeed in finding the information in concrete form I will at once advise you.
Yours sincerely,
Brian. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Robbins
Secretary.
(Handwritten note)
We have been in touch with SMMT statistical dept. but these details are not included in SMMT specification and Prices.
