W. Lyons, Esq.,
Managing Director,
S.S. Cars Ltd.,
Holbrook Lane,
COVENTRY.

Dear Mr. Lyons,

The Company is considering buying a 3 1/2-litre Jaguar with a view to keeping abreast of "the value for money" which is being offered in the Industry to-day.

Before they come to any decision I would very much like to visit Coventry again to have a look at the chassis in course of construction, and also try one of these cars if there is one available.

We might also discuss current problems to our mutual advantage.

I should like to bring with me Mr. Bailey, our Chief Engineer on the chassis side. Possibly it would be better to postpone any such visit until after the Motor Show. Incidentally, I cannot recollect your ever having come to Derby, and we should like the opportunity of entertaining you if you could spare time for a visit. Although our product does not change very much, we have a fair amount of development work in progress.

Yours sincerely,
