YOUR REF

2nd March, 1940.

Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited,
DERBY.

For the attention of Mr.Robotham.

Dear Sirs,

Re: Axle for Rippleto Car
Your Order No. 8856.

We refer to the correspondence concerning the rear axle from the Spicer Manufacturing Corporation for your Rippleto car and also to the communications with our Technical Director, Mr.J.A.Daniell, concerning the price for lots of 500 of these axles and have the pleasure of attaching hereto our quotation.

The quotation is based on an order for not less than 500 axles to be executed in one lot, and to be shipped in consignments of not less than 100 per month.

You will further note that there is an extra tool charge of $1400.00 in order to prepare the special appliances to make these axles.

We expect the test axle to be delivered shortly as it is now in Liverpool awaiting clearance by the Customs authorities.

We trust this axle will give you complete satisfaction and are always at your service for any further information and help we can give you in this matter.

Yours faithfully,
P.P. SALISBURY TRANSMISSION COMPANY LIMITED.

Rde Thierry
