DERBY.

18th May 1939.

For the attention of Mr.R.W.Harvey-Bailey.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to our letter of the 16th instant, ref:GES/PBC/UT.168, and our Representative's visit to your Works yesterday in connection with same, we wish to confirm the agreement reached, namely, that we supply the 4.50E section rim in preference to the old 'D' section rim, for the 4.50-16" type 72R wheels which you have on order from us, and action is being taken accordingly.

In view of Mr.Bailey's telephone conversation to-day, however, work on the actual balancing details is being held in abeyance, pending the arrival of a sketch depicting a modified design of balancing device, in which the centre bolt is independent of the rim.

Yours faithfully,
FOR THE DUNLOP RIM & WHEEL CO.LTD.
