To Hm. {Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} from Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Y3700 Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 2/LG14.1.27. RE. GOK-75 - V.Sullivan. We have tried the Zenith petrol filter. This is certainly a finer filter than our present gauze. We also think that it will be much more satisfactory with the chamois leather. However, owing to the fact that it is a finer filter, it will probably want cleaning out more than our standard gauze i.e. the jets will not choke up but the filter may. We therefore think that Mr. Sullivan should at any rate try this filter and see what results he can get. Messrs. The Zenith Carb. Co.
